Edward J. Murphy, Jr., Broker
Edward (Ted) Murphy, Jr. is a life-long resident of Litchfield where he attended the Litchfield Public Schools.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1974. Ted joined E.J. Murphy Realty in 1979, but feels that he
has been "spoon-fed" real estate since he was a young child. Ted is the owner of E.J. Murphy Realty, a licensed
Real Estate Broker, and a licensed Appraiser in the State of Connecticut. He is active in the Litchfield Rotary
Club and is a member of the Litchfield Rowing Club. He also enjoys jogging, skiing, and golf.

Linda Gardner
Litchfield has been home to Linda Gardner since 1972 when she moved here with her husband to start a new
landscaping business. When she is not selling real estate, she can be found on the family Christmas Tree

Janet Alexander
A native of New York City, Janet has been a Litchfield resident since 1998. Prior to
receiving her real estate license, Janet was an Early Childhood/Special Education
teacher in New York City, San Francisco, Evergreen, Colorado and Fairfield, CT. Janet
has been chairman of the Public Relations Committee for the Litchfield County Board of
Realtors since 2002, serves on the Board of Deacons of the First Congregational Church
of Litchfield and is an active member of the Connecticut Junior Republic. Janet was

Vavra M. Sprankle
Vavra M. Sprankle has enjoyed helping people find the perfect house for the past twenty years.
A mid-westerner, she graduated from Indiana University. Her years of living in France and Spain

Paul D. Stancs
Paul Stancs is a native of Litchfield. He attended nearby Rumsey Hall School as well as The Taft School.
He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree in Managerial Economics. Paul
worked in NYC for 15 years as a banker and evolved into real estate development in the late 1990s. He is a
licensed real estate salesman. In addition, Paul is as an experienced mortgage broker and can assist you with
any real estate financing need that you may have. Away from the office, Paul serves as a member of the town's
Pension Commission and has served as a Board Member of The Litchfield Country Club. Paul resides in Litchfield
with his wife of 14 years and two children.

David A. Luzi
Dave Luzi is a lifelong resident of Litchfield and an active member of the community.
He is a graduate of the Litchfield public schools and the University of Connecticut.
In the late 1970's Dave obtained his real estate license and worked on a part time basis
in the E. J. Murphy Realty office. In 1984 he opened his own brokerage firm which he
operated for nearly 22 years before returning to E. J. Murphy Realty in late 2005.
Dave and his wife Janet reside on Goodhouse Road in Litchfield where they finished
raising their two children and where they now enjoy visits from their three grandchildren.
When not helping clients, Dave enjoys photography, cooking and traveling with Janet.

Donna Membrino
Donna Membrino and her family are lifelong residents of Litchfield County. Donna
graduated from Paier College of Art where she majored in photography. She specialized
in photographing thoroughbred horse racing for over 20 years throughout the country.
